Alcohol & Drug Treatment Services Program
Description Outpatient treatment services are available to adolescents, adults and
families. Services consist of intake evaluation, individual, group and family
counseling. We offer a wide array of evidence-based practices as well as youth
and women specific options.
Program Philosophy
-
Addiction to alcohol or other
drugs is shown by a person not being able to control use in spite of harmful
consequences.
-
Alcohol and other drug abuse
effects all parts of a person's life.
-
Treatment that works must
address all facets of the problem.
-
Recovery depends on the
person staying free of all mood changing drugs, unless taken for valid
medical reasons.
-
Being clean and sober is only
the first step. Ongoing evaluation occurs to ensure that the client's
treatment needs are being met.
-
Alcohol and other drug
dependence effects the whole family. Education and treatment are offered to
all persons living with the person in treatment.
-
Self-help programs such as
Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous are used to aid the individual
in forming a lifelong support system.
Program
Requirements
Having an evaluation does not always mean an individual will be admitted
to treatment. After the evaluation, clients will be referred to a level of care
deemed appropriate to meet their needs. This may include education services,
outpatient, intensive-outpatient, residential, and on rare occasions,
detoxification and/or hospitalization services. We also refer for conjoint
services when necessary including psychiatric consultation, medical consult and
mental health services.
Treatment Fees
Harney Behavioral Health bills private insurance as well as the Oregon
Health Plan. We offer a sliding scale fee based on household income for those
who do not have insurance.
