February 1 is the first day for candidates for precinct committeeperson for their respective parties to file a declaration of candidacy for the primary election with the county clerk.
February 25 is the last day for potential nonaffiliated candidates to register as not a member of a party to meet the 180 day requirement for the general election.
March 18 is the last day for city elections officials, county governing body or district elections authority to give notices of measure elections to the county clerk for the primary election.
April 27 is the last day to register for the primary election, if not already registered in Oregon.
Ballots for the primary election will be sent to voters on April 30.
May 18 is the primary election day in Oregon.
