Mental Health Services
- Individual, family, and
group therapy. Clients may range from being severely and persistently mentally
ill, to those only needing prevention intervention and everything in between.
Treatment uses solution focused approaches with goals that improve the client’s
quality of life and achieves a greater level of independence. We work
closely with family systems and positive client outcomes.
- Psychiatric nurse
practitioner coverage as well as psychiatric MD diagnosis, evaluation, and
prescription services.
- 24 hour a day, 365 day a
year crisis service to the public in general, schools, medical clinics, and the
local hospital.
- Assessment, treatment
planning, individual and group therapy.
- Case management and
life skills training.
- Residential placement
and hospital discharge planning.
- Medication evaluation,
monitoring and management.
- Coordination with
community agencies and resources.
Alcohol & Drug Abuse Treatment
- Substance abuse
treatment is provided with the understanding that no single form of
treatment is effective for all individuals and that substance abuse problems
most often arise out of a person’s environment. It is also understood that
remaining in treatment for an adequate period of time is critical and that
recovery is a long-term process.
- Evaluation, assessment
and out-patient treatment for substance abuse.
- Referral to residential
treatment programs.
- Aftercare follow-up
services for individuals coming out of residential treatment.
- Prevention, education
and outreach to the community.
- Services to individuals
referred by courts for alcohol and drug related offenses.
Lifespan Respite
Care Network
Respite care offers a
break to a caregiver from the ongoing demands of providing intense home care. The network is a community project that provides
information and referral. The program assists in recruiting care providers,
creating training opportunities and providing service coordination for any
family in need.
Regional Youth Response Specialist
Serves agencies
throughout the Eastern Oregon region who serve youth with issues of mental
illness, emotional difficulties or behavioral problems and assists with the
coordination and implementation of services for identified children or
adolescents.
Independence Place-Resident Treatment Facility
Independence Place (IP) is a
dual-diagnosis, co-ed, residential treatment facility located in
Hines, Oregon. Focused on treatment for individuals affected by
mental illness as well as alcohol and drug (A&D) issues, IP provides
person-centered services with the goal of helping people regain a
higher level of independence in their lives. IP is looking to
recruit for a contract resident
manager to help provide increased consistency and support for
this high-intensity population.
