Mental Health Services

  • Individual, family, and group therapy. Clients may range from being severely and persistently mentally ill, to those only needing prevention intervention and everything in between. Treatment uses solution focused approaches with goals that improve the client’s quality of life and achieves a greater level of independence.  We work closely with family systems and positive client outcomes.
  • Psychiatric nurse practitioner coverage as well as psychiatric MD diagnosis, evaluation, and prescription services.
  • 24 hour a day, 365 day a year crisis service to the public in general, schools, medical clinics, and the local hospital.
  • Assessment, treatment planning, individual and group therapy.
  • Case management and life skills training.
  • Residential placement and hospital discharge planning.
  • Medication evaluation, monitoring and management.
  • Coordination with community agencies and resources.

Alcohol & Drug Abuse Treatment

  • Substance abuse treatment is provided with the understanding that no single form of treatment is effective for all individuals and that substance abuse problems most often arise out of a person’s environment. It is also understood that remaining in treatment for an adequate period of time is critical and that recovery is a long-term process.
  • Evaluation, assessment and out-patient treatment for substance abuse.
  • Referral to residential treatment programs.
  • Aftercare follow-up services for individuals coming out of residential treatment.
  • Prevention, education and outreach to the community.
  • Services to individuals referred by courts for alcohol and drug related offenses.

Lifespan Respite Care Network

Respite care offers a break to a caregiver from the ongoing demands of providing intense home care. The network is a community project that provides information and referral. The program assists in recruiting care providers, creating training opportunities and providing service coordination for any family in need.

Regional Youth Response Specialist

Serves agencies throughout the Eastern Oregon region who serve youth with issues of mental illness, emotional difficulties or behavioral problems and assists with the coordination and implementation of services for identified children or adolescents.
